Chosen's Cafe - Valencia
In this relaxing adventure, we attempted to venture the North-West side of Valencia, through the wide views of the mountain seeking for a small newly opened cafe. As we reach the cool climate on top of the mountain, we have experienced a sense of achievement and happiness. It is a victory to reach the cafe because going there needs you a bucket of effort.
Chosen's Cafe is located in Sitio, Balantian, Malaunay, Valencia, Negros Oriental. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains will give a tremendous amount of amusement and surely you will immediately have the urge to take photographs. But wait, you should experience first the moment of standing on the lush green surface and feel the cold air around you. The mountains around are also covered with cool green trees. The best part is that you can see the clouds seemingly nearer because the place is technically more elevated compared to other places in the town. The cafe offers a variety of coffee beans like arabica and robusta. Aside from the good coffee at a very low price, they offer delicacy called "nilusak". You can buy cheap goods but get to see a priceless view of the mountains around you.
How to get there?
The paved roads are accessible by motorcycles. You can ride using habal-habal from the town market of Valencia. But there are a few meters of the road still at work on progress. You will pass the Sulfur Vents in Malaunay. For specific directions, you can ask from the locals in there.
